Appreciations for the wonderful family reunion

From Jerry and Lynn Belleza

Dear Family....We are just remembering the wonderful time that we had during the Grrrreat Family reunion that we had. Thanks for all that you did to make it such a special time for us.

Harry and Cynthia - it was such a pleasure to spend the day at your home and enjoy your hospitality and the beautiful sunny day.

Thanks, Alice and Walt for all of your time and talent that went into preparing the Saturday night banquet. It was awesome and so delicious.

Thanks, Ted, for arranging for us to use the Moose Lodge for our Saturday and Sunday events. It was an informal and spacious place that was just right for our reunion.

Thanks, again, Spence for the web site. It was so much fun to go into it and read family history and see pictures, both of the older generation and the more recent reunion pictures.

Thanks, Barbara, for heading up the 'Executive Committee" and keeping us all in the right colored bans. Thanks too, for my wonderful basket of Alaska things. The pottery bowl sits on my counter and is a perfect compliment to my white Italian canisters as a fruit bowl.

Thanks, Joe and Lori for keeping us informed of upcoming events and meetings - for keeping us in the loop.

Thanks, Dick and Sandy for undergirding the financial portion. God Bless you for your generosity. You make things more fun.

Dear Penny, it was so good to see you, again. Thanks for helping behind the scene in organizing the BBQ.

Our love to you all.
Lynn and Jerry

Hey how are you?? I am in withdrawls...

I would like you to put on the "site"

I am not sure how to phrase this but here is what I want to say . . .

When Barbara [Entsminger] and I went to have a therapy coffee one day, she said "how about a reunion, Alice?" I said "OK, when?" . . well she started with several dates, so we could please all . . . I said "Barbara, we can't please everyone, so might as please ourselves . . . so it's alright now . . ." no no that is a Ricky Nelson song! lol

ANY WAY we picked one date and stuck to it . . . hopefully giving a little time for people to get their summer plans in order. Then we started the monthly meetings! We each had plans of what we wanted and/or what we could do . . .

But BARBARA did it all!

She made sure that we had all of our area done or planned out . . EACH meeting she was the PRESIDENT and kept us on track. . I dare say that without Barbara the details to the reunion would not have come about . . . the things that we all will remember forever! Besides being A FAVorite cousin to many she is one awesome coordinator! . .

Please thank her and let people know when they are planning the next one they need to pick a leader like her!

MISS you all . . . can we live closer?
love ya,
Alice

Thanks for a memorable weekend!

All of us who attended the family reunion want to thank all of those who worked so hard and contributed so much in time and resources to make the weekend such a wonderful, memorable time.

So a special thank you goes out to Dick, Sandy, Ann, Brenda, Suzanne, Alice, Walt, Penny, Barbara, Ted M, Ted R , Frank, Harry, Mark, Stacy, Christy, Sam, Joe, Lori, Rob, and all others who pitched in with the planning, organizing, setting up, cooking and cleaning up to make it so very successful. I am sure that I am missing some names and thanks go to them as well. Also, thanks to Suzy Park for coming so far to be our official photographer.

I know I speak for my sister, Loli Moe, cousin Robbie Gleason, and his wife Molly. We want to thank all the Buzbys for making us feel so welcome. As you know, our grandmother Bessie Buzby Spencer and many in her family left Alaska years ago. All my life I have heard stories of the Buzbys and of life in Alaska. It was a real treat to finally meet so many of our grandmother's family.
